Analysis of the status of the hot blast stove contracted by Anke after 10 years of stable and smooth operation.

Recently, the cooling furnace of No.3 blast furnace of an iron and steel company in Shanxi was overhauled. the blast furnace is equipped with three top-burning hot blast furnaces, which is an EPC project undertaken by Zhengzhou anike industrial co., ltd. in 2010. all technical indexes of the hot blast furnace system have been running smoothly since it was put into operation for nearly 10 years. the low calorific value blast furnace gas is burned alone, the dome temperature is not higher than 1320 ℃, and the average temperature is above 1200 ℃. Taking advantage of the opportunity of the blast furnace cooling furnace overhaul, Annike's technical team conducted a detailed inspection of key parts such as the hot blast furnace vault and lattice bricks.

1. hot blast stove cooler inspection

The high temperature zone of the hot blast furnace uses siliceous materials. This time, the cooling furnace is in line with the maintenance of the blast furnace. The required time is short. Anke Company, combined with many years of operation experience and adopting the process of fast cooling furnace, has formulated a 12-day cooling furnace technical plan. After the cooling furnace is finished, the condition of each part of the furnace is deeply observed and analyzed.

1. Burner

The nozzle of the burner mixing chamber has no dislocation brick, and the spherical top structure of the mixing chamber is stable (Figure 1); the burner combustion chamber brick has no falling off and no cracks, and the burner can fully meet the service requirements of the second generation blast furnace.

2. Regenerator
The high temperature zone of the regenerator uses siliceous materials and adopts high-efficiency 37-hole lattice bricks patented by Annike. After entering the furnace, a section is removed from the lattice bricks on the 1st to 5th layers. After joint inspection by Annike team and the owner, it is determined that the lattice holes are free of deformation, plugging and bonding (Figure 2). After 10 years of continuous operation of the hot blast stove, blast furnace gas and soot only form a layer of glass phase on the surface of the first layer of lattice brick (fig. 3), which fully illustrates the excellent slag resistance of siliceous lattice brick. at the same time, it also verifies that the burner air and gas are fully mixed, short flame combustion, there is no secondary combustion in the lattice hole, and the current situation of the regenerator can fully meet the service requirements of the second generation of blast furnace.

3. Hot air outlet
The combined brick at the hot air outlet has no collapse and deformation. The refractory material of the hot air branch pipe, the lower semicircular combined brick at the three forks of the hot air pipe and the upper semicircular castable are all intact after 10 years of high air temperature erosion, without maintenance, and can meet the service requirements of the second generation of blast furnace.

2. epilogue

1. The quick cooling scheme for silica brick hot blast stove formulated this time is very successful. It takes 12 days to successfully cool the stove and repeatedly reproduces it. This shows that the service life of the two blast furnaces can be completely reached as long as the silica material is properly designed and operated.

2. The hot blast stove system of the project adopts many patents and proprietary technologies such as burner non-displacement micro-explosion prevention nozzle structure, vault (combustion chamber) flat masonry structure, dense silica lattice brick, multi-ring interlocking hot air outlet structure, hot blast pipeline three-way fork combined brick pouring technology, etc. After 10 years of production practice inspection, the expected design effect has been achieved, reflecting the technical characteristics of high efficiency, long life and high air temperature of hot blast stove.
