On August 4, the scientific and technological achievements evaluation meeting of "key technology research and innovation of high-efficiency and low-carbon high-temperature hot blast stove" was successfully held in Beijing. The project is composed of Zhengzhou Annec Industrial Co., Ltd., Shougang Group Co., Ltd., Beijing Shougang International Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Shougang Co., Ltd., Shougang Jingtang Iron and Steel United Co., Ltd., Zhongtian Iron and Steel Group (Nantong) Co., Ltd., Baowu Group Meishan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., Hegang Serbia Iron and Steel Co., Ltd.

Everyone agrees that the high-efficiency low-carbon high-temperature hot blast stove technology has obvious advancement in reducing the coke ratio of blast furnaces, increasing the air temperature, energy saving and carbon reduction, and green environmental protection, and the technical level is the world's leading. Under the background of "double carbon" economy, it is believed that the project completion units will continue to forge ahead on the road of scientific and technological innovation, apply leading technology, high-quality products and perfect services to global iron and steel enterprises, and promote the iron and steel industry to achieve the "double carbon" goal as soon as possible.

Academician Yin Ruiyu concluded that the project "Research and Innovation of Key Technologies of High-efficiency, Low-carbon and High-temperature Hot Blast Stove" has the characteristics of systematization, engineering and industrialization. The project is not a single material innovation, but a systematic integrated innovation that integrates design, scientific research, construction, production, and maintenance; it has both laboratory technical verification and project engineering practice testing; promotion and application have significant benefits. It has a positive contribution to low-carbon emission reduction, energy saving and consumption reduction.

Finally, the evaluation committee announced the evaluation opinions: under the background of green and low-carbon development, the project has developed a new top-burning hot blast stove with high efficiency, low carbon, green cleaning, high temperature and longevity and its key technologies around the common technical problems such as efficient combustion, ultra-low emission, safe and stable operation of blast furnace hot blast stove. The main innovation points of the project are: the development and application of high efficiency, low carbon and high air temperature top-burning hot blast stove and its key technologies. Innovative development of high efficiency, low carbon, clean combustion technology of top combustion hot blast stove. A technical standard system for the design, manufacture, selection and configuration of refractory materials for new top-fired hot blast stoves has been established. Research and development of low-stress-non-superheated hot blast furnace body and pipe longevity technology, design and development of low-stress hot blast furnace body and hot blast pipe system. The hot blast stove combustion dynamic precise control model and intelligent information physical system (CPS), hot blast stove furnace and pipeline system all-weather intelligent monitoring system were developed. This achievement has been authorized 37 invention patents (including 4 international patents), formulated 10 national and industry standards and norms, and published more than 60 academic papers. The technology is applied to India's JSW Steel No.5 Blast Furnace (5872 m), Shougang Jingtang No.3 Blast Furnace (5500m), Shougang Qiangang No.2 Blast Furnace (2650m), Zhongtian (Nantong) Steel No.2 and No.3 Blast Furnace (2400 m), Baowu Meigang No.2 Blast Furnace (1280 m), Hegang Serbia Steel No.2 Blast Furnace (1595 m), Russia MMK Steel No.7 Blast Furnace (1280 M) and more than 780 hot blast stoves of more than 240 blast furnaces at home and abroad, it has achieved remarkable economic, social and environmental benefits, and has broad application prospects. The evaluation committee believes that the results have reached the international leading level.
